The Arizona Baseball Museum - Years in the Making
The Arizona Baseball Museum began with a simple idea: to create a permanent home for Arizona’s rich baseball history. For decades, the 1939 Lehi Auditorium—located next door to the Mesa Historical Museum—sat quietly due to lack of updated facilities. But we saw something more: the opportunity to create Arizona’s first and only museum dedicated exclusively to the state’s baseball history.

Turning that vision into reality took more than two years of hard work. Renovating an 80-year-old building came with its share of construction challenges, unexpected expenses, and countless roadblocks. Yet through determination, generous community support, and a passion for preserving the game’s legacy, we raised the funds needed to breathe new life into the historic space.
What started as a dream is now a reality: a museum built by fans, for fans. It’s a tribute to the players, teams, and communities that have made baseball a vital part of Arizona’s culture—especially for those who return each spring to celebrate America’s pastime.
Mission Statement
